Status:Active, open to new members
Group email: Craft and Natter group
When: Monthly on Thursday afternoons 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
2nd Thursday each month
Venue: A Group Members Home

We meet in each other's homes, either for an informal crafty natter over a cup of tea & cake, or a more formal craft session where we learn a new skill from someone within the group.

So far, we’ve made origami stars, decoupage Easter eggs, macramé, felting, gel printing, stamped & water coloured Spring cards & sashiko.  We are planning other crafts to do over the next few months and welcome ideas for what to make.

For our April meeting we met in Pink Cabbage. We learnt how to embroider flowers inside a four hole button & continued with decorating our Crazy Quilt blocks

Our next meeting is on 11th June

At November's meeting we made macrame angels ready for the u3a Peace Tree at the Union Church Tree Festival

At the meeting in October we tried our hand at Shadow Stamping, making Autumn themed cards.

The cards we made.

At the July meeting we knitted poppies to be added to the mass installation at the Union Church for Remembrance Day
