
We made some very quick recipes from Jamie Oliver's new book Simply Jamie this month.
We started off with one that needed to go in the oven. Lots of veg chopped up, seasoned and roasted, with a block of feta in the. middle and served over flavoured couscous.
Simple, variable and delicious.
Next up was penne with a sauce made from a whole jar of roasted red peppers, garlic, almonds and cottage cheese, topped with an oil made from parsley and olive oil.
Another quick and simple dish.


Then we used orecchiette pasta and made a sauce with a whole packet of pre-cooked beetroot, parmesan, basil, lemon and olive oil, topped with walnuts and cottage cheese.
Beautiful!
Finally, we used small shells and a whole jar of sun dried tomatoes in oil, garlic and oregano to make the sauce, and topped with parmesan.
All in all a very successful day!
