The `Play Readers Act 1
This is a monthly group that meets on the third Thursday of every month for two hours from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Susanne’s house. The idea is very simple, we sit round a table and we read a play aloud with a break for coffee, tea and biscuits.
The aim of these sessions is simply to have fun but it is also a good way to become acquainted with a variety of old and contemporary play scripts that we hire from the local library. Although we may discuss characters, plots, themes etc, it is not our intention to explore the plays at any great depth. You do not need to have any acting skills although they are always a bonus.
If there are any interested U3a members out there who would like to participate in 2 hours of complete enjoyment, please contact Susanne as we welcome new participants.
Please register your interest in this activity via email

Next Meeting is September 18th when we shall be reading "ABSENT FRIENDS" by Alan Ayckbourn.
